CSAF Fine Arts/OAP pdate

This has been a very crazy turn of events for our whole world.

In response to it all we have come to the conclusion that we will not be able to have our Annual Fine Arts Festival or One Act Play Contest.  We know this is not really a surprise to anyone.

We ARE going to have 3 events.

1- Art- All art will be judged!

2- Solo Dance- Solo Dancers who were signed up are invited to submit a video of their solo Dance.

No duets or groups of any sizes.

3- Acting Monologues- Students who signed up for monologue, duet, or OAP are invited to submit a video of a monologue.  No duets or groups of any size.

The same TCAF guidelines apply.

E-mail the videos to mr.jefferson@ccsmw.org

All videos are due April 14th

Results will be announced April 17th

COVID-19 - CSAF Precautionary Measures

Dear Fellowship,

The TCAF/CSAF Staff have been closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 and the information provided by the CDC, the Federal, State, County and City Mandates, UIL mandates and our Member School mandates. Nothing is more important to us than the health and well-being of our athletes, colleagues and fans.

Due to the outbreak not yet at its peak and the renewed mandate of "social distancing" until April 30th, the CSAF staff has decided, in the best interest of our schools, to cancel all Spring Sports.

Practice

  • If your school is in session, then it will be left to local discretion on whether teams may practice or condition.
  • If your school has closed campus (which includes online or digital classes), then practice is not allowed.

Fine Arts - we are still hoping to salvage Fine Arts and One Act Play. However, this is also subject to change.

  • The Fine Arts/OAP Competition has been moved to the first week in May. Participating schools have been notified
  • The Visual Arts will be judged in May. No date has been set but schools will be notified when artwork is ready to be picked up.

We are praying protection, health and safety for all of our schools. We are also praying for and admire the Teachers and Administrators that are doing an outstanding job of continuing the student's education through this unprecedented time.
